Mrs. Sams has the most unique kindergarten class in Sevier County. The students in her class are split into two groups. One group comes in the morning from 8:00 - 12:30 and the other group comes at 10:30 - 3:00. There are only 9 or 10 children in each group. This allows for more individualized instruction and more time for music, art and center activities. Most of the children in the class will be reading independently by the end of the school year. There are 2 hours when the children are all at school. This time is for lunch, special classes, and outside play.
