Please note that many reading experiences are provided for your child each day.  The basal reader provides the benchmarks for assessment of your child's reading progress.  Nightly practice is necessary for students to reach their individual goals.  It is also important to remember that every child develops at a different rate.  Some children may simply need more time to grow and mature into proficient readers.
