New Center School

We believe:

•        New Center School is a diverse community comprised of dedicated professionals, students, parents, and community members who together encourage the success of each student. 

•        We address individual differences by using students needs as the basis for design and delivery of a quality instructional program for each student to achieve his or her full potential. 

•        We evaluate the curriculum and textbooks to align the curriculum with state standards (benchmarks). 

•        We use technology and new innovations to enhance learning. 

•       We provide opportunities to include parents, students, and community members when making school decisions. 

•        We closely monitor formal and informal assessment materials to  improve instruction and increase student knowledge to provide opportunities for reteaching and enrichment. 

•        We evaluate school policies yearly to address any need for change, improvement, or elimination of a policy and notify stakeholders of any such changes. 

•        We adhere to county wide and school wide policies to insure a successful progression of educational, character, and social growth from year to year for every student.

New Center School’s mission is to give students the foundation that will allow them to succeed in life both academically and personally and within the community in which they live.

While supporting and directing children in their journey to their full potential, New Center School will continually evaluate and adapt the educational programs in order to meet the ever-changing demands of our society and world.
