Easy
steps to follow for webpage creation.
1. Save your document
2. Begin with
your background.
3. Then enter
your information.
4. Then add
pictures.
5. Then add
links.
Step 1: Save your document
Open Mozilla
Click on the Composer Icon at the bottom of the page
Go ahead and save your page to make it easier later.
File
Save As
(your name), Data on New Center H
PUBLIC_HTML
save file as index
All files
must be saved in one location!
- File must be saved to your H Drive!
- Under your H Drive, use the PUBLIC_HTML
folder
- Home page should be saved as index
- ALL items
for your webpage MUST be stored in this file for it to work properly.
Step
2: Background
Open Format
Then
go to Page Colors and Background
From here you can
change to custom colors or add an image as a background.
Step 3: Entering your Information
You just type like it is a word document.
Information that MUST BE ON YOUR WEBPAGE...
Name, Grade, School
Link to the New Center
Homepage
E-mail
Monthly Curriculum Maps

Step
4: Using
Pictures
Find the picture you want.
Lots of graphics are in the F folder
Open my computer,
select the
F drive
select teachers
then select
downloaded clips
change the view to thumbnail
to look at the image
To save an image from the web
Right-click on a picture,
graphic, or background
Click Save Image As
(or Save Background As)
Click the down arrow at the end of the Save In box
Choose a location to keep your saved stuff.
PUBLIC_HTML folder
Click the File Name
box and give the graphic a user-friendly name.
Click Save

Step 5: Adding Links
Type the text you want to link.
Highlight the text.
Click on the Link button at the top of the page.
Then you choose a file, or a webpage to link the text to.
You can also link images by highlighting the image and then clicking on
the link button.
