I graduated
from
Sevier County High School in 1974. I attended the University of
Tennessee
and received a secretarial certificate. I then worked as a legal
secretary in Knoxville for two years. After that, I returned to
the
University of Tennessee to finish my degree in education.
I got married
and moved out of state. I started my family shortly
afterward.
I have three sons. My oldest graduated from S.C.H.S. in
2002.
I also have twins who graduated in 2005.
I have lived
in Oklahoma, Colorado, and Kansas. I attended Wichita State
University
to become certified in Kansas. I then substituted for three years
before moving back to Sevierville. I received my Master's Degree
in education in 2002 while teaching full-time.
I enjoy
working
with children, bowling, cross-stitch, walking, and working around the
house
and in the yard. I am, also, in the process of remodeling my
home,
which is the home I grew up in.
