We take 4 field trips during the year.  In the fall, we visit the Smoky Mountain's National Park.  We learn about using the five senses in the park.  During the winter, we take a Community Helper field trip.  We try to visit several important places in our community (Library, Post Office, Grocery Store, Hospital, etc.).  In the spring, we usually visit a farm or greenhouse.  Lastly, in May, we visit the Knoxville Zoo.  These trips allow the students to experience first hand the topics they are taught in the classroom.  We have lots of fun!!!
