Homework for the week will be sent home on Monday in the homework folders.  Nightly homework will consist of reading the story assigned for the week and studying for the weekly Spelling test.  Occasionally there will be an additional worksheet sent home based upon the needs of each individual student.

Spelling Policy:  Students must study their Spelling words at home nightly.  We will work with the words in class.  On Thursday, students will take a pre-test.  Those who make 100 or better on the pre-test will not have to take the test on Friday.  Please ensure that your child is studying his/her words nightly.
