Special Projects
We like to do fun special projects
in third grade. Here are some of the special projects we will get
to do this year:
1. Foreign Country Poster Project - In this project you will do research about a country of your choice using resouces in the library and on the internet. You will learn about the location, language, clothing, foods, and culture of your country and create a poster about it to present to the class.
2. Science Fair Project - This is the first year that you are required to do a science fair project. We will learn about the different steps of scientific method in class. Then you will get to come up with your own idea to do your project on. It will have a problem/purpose, hypothesis, procedure, results, materials, and conclusion. It must be an experiment. Don't worry. Even though you are required to do this project on your own I will be available to help you any way I can. It is a lot of work, but we will be learning a whole lot and it is a lot of fun.
