My name is Christy Maples and in 1994 I began teaching third grade at New Center Elementary School. I love to come to school each day and help some of my favorite people (kids) develop a love for learning! I received my teaching degrees from Carson Newman College in Jefferson City. I currently live on a farm in Pigeon Forge with my husband Jimmy and our children Bryson and Olivia.  Reading, walking in the woods, and boating at the lake are all things I enjoy, but spending time just being together with my family is the thing I love most!
