Classroom Discipline

    A system of rules,consequences, and rewards will be used.  I believe that it is very important for students to follow rules and understand that if they break the rules, that there are consequences.  I also believe that it is very important that students be responsible for their own actions.  Students with good behavior are rewarded.  This system is simple for all of us to follow, and will allow us to have a more productive school year.

School/Classroom Rules                                                    

1. Treat others with respect

2.  Come prepared and ready to learn

3.  Talk quietly with permission

4.  Follow safety practices at all times

5.  Follow directions the first time given

Consequences

1.  1st time any rule is broken: Verbal Warning

2.  2nd time any rule is broken: Lose 10 minute of recess

3.  3rd time any rule is broken: At recess, complete problem solving form

4.  4th time any rule is broken: Complete problem solving form and call home to parents

5.  Severe misbehavior: Send to principal's office

Rewards

1.  Students feel good about themselves

2.  Verbal Praise

3.  Teacher Jobs

4.  Stickers, candy etc.
